Exercise Instructions

Step One

Begin with one end of the band or tubing stabilized under your foot.

Step Two

Grasp the other end in your hand with slight tension on the band or tubing.

Step Three

Bring your arm slightly in front of your body (about 30 degrees).

Step Four

Lift your arm from your side, keeping your elbow straight and your thumbs down.

Step Five

Stop at shoulder level and slowly return.

Step Six

Do not perform this if it causes shoulder pain.

Step Seven

Keep your back straight, and avoid leaning over or shrugging your shoulders.
