Exercise Instructions
Step One
Seated in a chair, straighten out arm (with triceps to be rolled) in front of body, crossed toward midline, palm facing inward. Anchor one end of the Thera-Band Roller Massager+ on hip bone of same side and grasp other end so that ridged roller is placed directly across outside of upper arm. Bend that same elbow to lengthen the triceps muscle.
Step Two
Gently roll the Massager+ up and down along the path of the triceps muscle, controlling the depth through controlling the amount of pressure placed on the tissue. Longer strokes in this elongated position will work more superficial layers of the tissue. The hip anchor serves as the fulcrum for the movement.
