At the completion of this course the participants will be able to:
• Establish relationship of nature versus common era functional surfaces and its effects on foot biomechanics.
• Successfully identify key foot/ankle anatomy landmarks.
• Understand the key biomechanical theories and their interrelation.
• Observe and evaluate the key functional division of the foot.
• Successfully comprehend the three axes of motion and their relation to foot and ankle mechanics.
• Competency to understand and evaluate gait and possible malfunction within gait.
• Identify the key factor to successful orthotic prescription..
